"Sunny Southern California" is known for its year-round warm climate. Here in Big Bear, as autumn rolls in on a crisp breeze, we gladly put away our flip flops to savor the return of sweaters, flannels, fireplaces, warm days and cool nights. This series of posts continues to be a great opportunity to share the history of Big Bear. This time, in lieu of the history lesson, we're sending you a reminder to stop and smell the autumn breezes. Come up to visit Big Bear and take-in the sea of yellow, red and gold foliage set against brilliant blue skies. Pumpkin spice lattes optional, awe for the nature that surrounds us....recommended.
